Ayrshire and Arran's coronavirus death rate has fallen for the third week in a row. A total of 220 deaths had COVID-19 mentioned on the death certificate, it was revealed today in figures released by The National Records of Scotland.But weekly death tolls have been decreasing in the region with this week (28 deaths) showing the smallest rise in deaths yet - 15 per cent on the previous week.On the week ending May 3, 33 people passed away (21 per cent increase) and the previous week - April 26, 39 people passed away (32 per cent increase).Ayrshire's largest death toll was recorded on the week ending April 19 where 53 people sadly passed away.Across Scotland, the death rate is also falling with 415 deaths that have been linked to the virus in
