Perth and Kinross Council is set to pave the way for a 246-home development and discuss plans for a new school at its first virtual committee meeting next week.

The planning and development management committee will meet via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, April 29.This will be the first council committee meeting open to both the public and press since lockdown began.The committee is due to consider four planning applications, including a substantial development of 246 homes in Crieff and the pre-application report for a new replacement primary school at North Muirton.Officers have recommended approval for the Crieff housing development, which could be built on land 200 metres south west of Wiltshire Foods on Broich Road.
