A West Lothian counselling service for young people has 16 extra spaces for those affected by the coronavirus crisis.S.M.I.L.E Counselling, in Bathgate, is recognised by West Lothian Council as a frontline service and partner in supporting local young people with their mental health through this crisis.During the Covid-19 outbreak they have continued to deliver remote counselling and support to their clients by offering online zoom sessions, phone or email.S.M.I.L.E founder, Declan Harrigan, works from the S.M.I.L.E offices every day alone in order to co-ordinate the service, deliver counselling sessions and liaise with regional partners.
