A country singer named Chase Rice is facing backlash this week after he wrote some tweets that seemingly make light of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 35-year-old singer joked that he had symptoms of COVID-19 and then later told fans he doesn’t actually have the virus. He then used that tweet to promote his new song. “Just lost my taste and smell.
Weird. Also, dropping a single at midnight,” Chase tweeted. He followed up that tweet by saying, “On a real note.
Don’t have covid. But I’m dropping a single tonight. With 2 guys that I learned a lot from. Respect the hell out of @FLAGALine.
