Couple made homeless by coronavirus – now they're living in the woods

A couple who were made homeless after losing their jobs because of the coronavirus crisis are now living in the woods. Ashley Khan and Katie Bland had their first decent meal in days at a street kitchen run by support group Homeless Aid UK.

A few weeks ago, the couple were living in a shared house in Bolton, however when the pandemic hit, Ashley lost his job as a painter and decorator.

Both of them have been homeless before, and this time the pair had no way to pay their rent and no other choice but to go back to the streets.
