There have been a further 407 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Ireland, the Department of Health said this afternoon. It also confirmed that there are 34 patients in intensive care, the same figure as yesterday.
The case figures may change due to future data review, validation and update, the department said. In its latest letter to the government, the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) said there is increased confidence the planned easing of restrictions for June remains low to medium risk.
