The Department of Health has been notified of an additional 432 cases of Covid-19, while one further death has also been recorded.
It brings the total number of deaths here to 1,811, while there has now been 38,973 cases overall. Of today's cases, 62% are under the age of 45, while 48% are associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case.
Sixty of the cases have been identified as community transmission, with a split in cases of 218 men and 214 women. Geographically, 111 of the cases are in Dublin, 51 are in Donegal, 41 in Cork, 32 in Clare and the remaining 197 are located across 20 counties.
