The rise in cases is due to numbers from private hospitals over the past few days being included MUMBAI : Maharashtra on Saturday reported 145 new covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of affected patients to 635 with 6 patients succumbing to the virus.
Four of the deceased are from Mumbai. Only 52 people have shown complete recovery so far. The rise in cases is due to numbers from private hospitals over the past few days being included.
Other cases were reported in Sangli, Nagpur, Ahmednagar, Buldana, Yavatmal, Satara, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Gondia, Nasik, Osmanabad, Washim, Jalgaon and Amravati, according to the public health department of Maharashtra.
