Covid-19: Three more deaths and 14 new cases

Three more people have died from coronavirus, the Department of Health has confirmed. There have now been a total of 1,709 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has also been informed of 14 new confirmed cases of Covid-19. There is now a total of 25,334 cases in Ireland.

Detailed data from the HPSC from midnight, Sunday 14 June (relating to 25,320 cases), reveals 57% are female and 43% are male with a median age of 48.

3,282 cases (13%) have been hospitalised and of those, 418 cases have been admitted to ICU with 8,139 cases associated with healthcare workers.
