Hyderabad: Three people, including a couple, tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Telangana on Thursday. None of the patients have a history of travel abroad.
A doctor couple from Domalguda in Hyderabad came in contact with others infected with the virus. The third person, also a resident of Hyderabad, had travelled to Delhi.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state stand at 44. On Wednesday, two COVID-19 cases were reported in Telangana, of which one of the infected was a three-year old.
In Telangana, those undergoing treatment have been kept in isolation at state-run hospitals. The first person who tested positive in the state has recovered and was discharged earlier this month.
