HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Montgomery County District Attorney says no criminal charges will be filed in relation to a deadly shooting at a cemetery after ruling it self-defense.

The shooting erupted at a "birthday celebration" at Whitemarsh Memorial Park on the afternoon of March 18. Police say Daniel Hawkins, 29, of Philadelphia, was pronounced dead on scene and Arian Davis, 33, of Philadelphia, was seriously injured after being shot in the jaw, hand, and leg.

He was transported to Abington Hospital for treatment, officials say. Authorities say more than 30 shots were fired in the deadly shooting and later recovered by investigators on scene.

Body burned beyond recognition found in backseat of vehicle after car fire in Oxford Circle, authorities say

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating after a body was found in the back seat of a burning car early Tuesday morning. According to officials, police responded to a car fire in the area of Sylvester and Howell Streets in the Oxford Circle section of the city just before 1 a.m. Police say officers and medics arrived on scene to find a Honda CRV fully engulfed in flames. Once the fire department put out the flames, authorities say they realized there was a body in the back seat. The individual in the back seat was pronounced dead shortly after, according to Chief Inspector Scott Small, who says the body was burned beyond recognition. Chester County man sought in connection with fatal East Vincent Twp. shooting, officials say

EAST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police in Chester County are searching for a suspect they say fatally shot a 33-year-old Spring City man.According to officials, the shooting happened early Saturday, around 2:30 in the morning, at the Park Springs Apartments, on Park Springs Boulevard, in East Vincent Township.East Vincent Police were called to the scene and found 33-year-old William Stafford lying in the road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics arrived and pronounced Stafford dead at the scene.After an investigation and with the aid of surveillance video from the apartment complex, Chester County officials issued a warrant for 41-year-old Mickey Chucky Quinzell, of Spring City.MORE HEADLINES:Authorities say he is observed in the surveillance video, getting out of a Ford Taurus, at 110 Park Springs Boulevard, while the victim exited the same vehicle.

A train derailed in Rockwood, Maine on Saturday with hazardous materials on board (Rockwood Fire & Rescue) A train has reportedly derailed in the state of Maine and officials say they believe hazardous materials were on board."Train derailment with fire north of rockwood, hazzard materials please stay clear!" The Rockwood, Maine Fire & Rescue posted on Facebook Saturday.
