Daily Covid cases fall to lowest in a month

The UK is reporting the lowest number of daily coronavirus infections since October 2. According to the latest data published by the government, 30,305 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported today (Sunday, November 7).

This figure marks a drop from 30,693 on Saturday, November 6, and just over 38,000 this time last week. Between November 1 and 7 November 7, 247,537 people had a confirmed positive test result - showing a decrease of 12.9 per cent compared to the previous 7 days.
