WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Two Chester County women have been arrested for stealing $450,000 from their employer, Chester County officials said.The announcement came Wednesday from the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, saying 22-year-old West Chester resident Mikayla Zeigler and 25-year-old Danielle King, of Chadds Ford, reportedly stole $450,000 from their employer, a doctor in West Chester, between October 2020 and August 2021.In addition, the two are charged with trying to sell items, valued at over $1 million, that belonged to the doctor.Officials outlined an extensive scheme by the women, stealing from the doctor and spending that money on themselves.According to officials, King and Zeigler convinced the victim to use an electronic banking system, which allowed them access to accounts of the victim and his businesses. PEORIA, Ariz. - Peoria police say they have arrested a man who was caught on camera beating a dog at a home near Happy Valley Road and Tierra Del Rio Boulevard.Jeffrey Wright, 42, was filmed on April 6 kicking, body slamming and abusing the animal, causing it to defecate, police said. PHILADELPHIA - Prosecutors in Philadelphia have charged a man who they say chased down and fatally shot a driver during an apparent road rage confrontation on a one-way street. The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office charged 22-year-old Derek Escribano for the deadly encounter that unfolded Monday morning on the 2000 block of Mercy Street. Video from a nearby residence captured two cars speeding down the one-way street in the wrong direction and abruptly stop in the middle of the block due to a double-parked car.Prosecutors say Escribano and the victim, later identified as 42-year-old Darren Whitfield, are seen exiting their cars.
