KATE Garraway's husband Derek Draper looked in good spirits as he joined his family on a trip to the panto. It is the first time the 54-year-old has been seen outside since returning home after a brutal 13-month stay in hospital.
She was seen pushing him in a wheelchair as they went to see Cinderella at Richmond Theatre with their family. Joining them for the performance in west London on Wednesday were their children Darcey, 15, and Billy, 12.
Derek, the worst-affected living Covid patient in the UK, was hospitalised after catching the virus in March 2020. He was later put into a medically-induced coma but after months in intensive care we was allowed home in April this year.
