Former health secretary Matt Hancock has tested positive for coronavirus for the second time but the Tory MP says he ‘feels fine’.
Hancock said he has been isolating at home since testing positive for the virus yesterday afternoon. He first caught covid in April 2020 when he was the UK Government’s health secretary and was front and centre of Westminster’s fight against the virus.
Tonight the politician took to social media to urge people to get their booster jag, claiming it has helped him. Hancock tweeted: “Yesterday afternoon I tested positive for Coronavirus.
I’ve been isolating at home since then. “Thankfully I feel fine.“Much better than last time and that’s thanks to the vaccine.
