A woman who had been fighting for her life for months in a battle with kidney failure has died after losing her sister, brother and dad.
Suzanne Shipley managed to hold on for four months, with doctors predicting she had two weeks to live at Christmas. The 34-year-old, from Great Sankey in Warrington, was left devastated after the death of her sister just six months ago from a heart complication.
Medics had told Type 1 diabetes patient at the end of last year they had exhausted all their options. Tragically, her family has been beset by tragedy, with her dad Graham dying years ago due to the same illness, and her brother who went blind at 19, 12 years before he himself passed away, when 31, reports the Liverpool Echo.
