In a shocking investigation, the coronavirus pandemic has led to an increase in sales of dog and cat meat as doctors in Vietnam and Cambodia claim the meat can "help fight off" the virus.
Although other countries are looking to reduce their sale and and consumption of live animals, The Sun reports, the region is doing the opposite and encouraging people to eat the meat.
The investigation which has been carried out by animal charity FOUR PAWS which reveals that sellers have begun to offer the meat as a delivery service on food apps.
The Sun reports, FOUR PAWS veterinarian, Kathrine Polak, said: "The unsanitary conditions associated with the cat and dog meat trade, coupled with the contamination risks of having so many different animal
