Donald Trump is "getting bored" in hospital but advisors warned he could relapse if he leaves too early. The president continues to recover from coronavirus at the Walter Reed hospital, despite waving at fans in a car on Sunday.
Although he was only admitted to hospital over the weekend, doctors say it is possible Mr Trump could be discharged from hospital today.
Sources say the president is "bored" and "tired" of watching TV coverage of his own infection. He is said to be eager to return to the White House as soon as possible.
Two of his aides told the New York Times that the president "hates hospitals" and is "hankering" to get released, but others close to him fear that it could do more harm than good.
