Donald Trump has sparked fury after invoking George Floyd's name while boasting about employment figures, claiming he would be pleased.
The President has said that today is a "great day" for Mr Floyd, who died after a white police officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes in Minneapolis on May 25.
The unarmed black man's death has sparked massive protests against racial discrimination across the US and around the world, prompting Mr Trump to threaten to send in the military.
His comments came after the US Labor Department revealed that contrary to dire predictions, the number of jobs nationwide has increased by 2.5 million.
