Police volunteers in Dumbarton generously donated their own radio equipment to hospital staff to help save lives.They answered the call from Glasgow Royal Infirmary who needed the devices to communicate in the hospital quickly and safely at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.The local Police Scotland Youth Volunteer (PSYV) group help out good causes across the area, including donating over £300 worth of toys and goodies to the Community Foodshare Toybank Appeal.PC Dale Lodgson, group coordinator, said: “Back around mid-March of this year, one of the PSYV Clydebank/Dumbarton adult volunteers was made aware of a plea from a friend who is consultant anaesthetist for the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.“This was for some radio equipment as the staff
