East Kilbride Rugby Club boss Allan Steel heaped praise on player of the year Aidan Stott and insisted he would have had an even more spectacular season, if not for the Covid-19 shutdown. The outside centre landed 18 tries in 14 appearances for the Torance House side and EK still had around half of their league games still to play when the Scottish Rugby Union deemed the campaign null and void.Stott was voted the club’s player of the year for his efforts and Steel, whose side won the West Regional Shield this season, said: “Aidan has developed excellently over the last few years and he’s really starting to fulfil his potential, so it’s a well-deserved award.”He’s one of our main attacking threats throughout the season and it’s just a shame
