Despite EastEnders airing a flashforward of sorts in that the missed months will not be covered on the BBC soap when it returns, there will be mentions of what happened in lockdown.
The BBC soap went off air in June after running out of episodes, after Covid-19 halted filming in March. Fans have since been treated to a number of teasers about what went on during lockdown for Walford residents.
From Chantelle Atkins' plot to leave her abusive husband Gray, to Ian Beale's secret coming under threat, residents were forced to stay in lockdown.
But now it seems one character did have the virus, and battled it in the missing months. Tina Carter suffered with Covid-19, it's been revealed in the spin-off series Secrets From the Square.
