EastEnders has promised big scenes to come next week and beyond, to keep viewers hooked amid the coronavirus lockdown. The BBC soap has gone down to two episodes a week with filming now halted amid the global pandemic.

Episodes have had to be moved to fit the new schedule, with viewers gutted to have less episodes to watch. But the soap has been on it with giving fans extra content to keep them tied over, with Friday being no different.

With no episode of the show on as usual, the soap dropped a new trailer on their Twitter account teasing what was to come. The scenes include moments from tragic Dennis Rickman's funeral, as his grieving relatives prepare to say goodbye.
