Celtic flop Eboue Kouassi is hoping he can still complete a permanent move to Genk despite the coronavirus lockdown. The 22-year-old joined the Belgian side in January on loan and they have the option to buy him at the end of the campaign, but the Ivorian has an uncertain future with the current lockdown.
Kouassi's time at Celtic was an expensive disaster - he didn't feature for 15 months and was completely frozen out by manager Neil Lennon. He made just seven league starts since Celtic forked out a chunky £2.8 million fee to sign him three years ago from Krasnodor and he failed to score a single goal.Kouassi's time in Belgium hasn't been a huge success either - he's made just three starts since his move.
