Elizabeth Hurley, 55, has broken her silence following the sad death of Steve Bing. The Kangaroo Jack writer died at the age of 55 on Monday after reportedly taking his own life.

The Bedazzled actress, who dated the film producer in 2000 and welcomed son Damian, 18, with him in 2002 after they separated, has taken to social media following the passing of the late Shangri-La Entertainment founder.

Liz uploaded a number of snaps of herself and Steve and penned a heartfelt message onto her Instagram account on Tuesday. She typed on social media: "I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. "It is a terrible end.
