MP Margaret Ferrier has been arrested and charged by police for an alleged breach of coronavirus restrictions Police Scotland confirmed that a 60-year-old woman had been charged "in connection with alleged culpable and reckless conduct".
The Rutherglen and Hamilton West MP previously admitted to travelling the length of the country twice by train while suffering from coronavirus.
Ms Ferrier apologised for travelling to Parliament from her home in Scotland in September after experiencing symptoms. While in London, she took part in a debate on the pandemic in the House of Commons.
