Fire truck catches fire at Grafton-area fire hall

A fire on Thursday destroyed the cab of an Alnwick/Haldimand fire rescue truck which was parked inside the Grafton-area fire hall.

While the cause of the fire is unknown, damage is estimated at at least $130,000. The fire was discovered by Fire Chief Mike Diminie, who had stopped by the empty station to drop off cleaning and disinfecting supplies.
