Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is planning a surprise return to the boxing ring, despite the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
Mayweather has not fought professionally since beating UFC star Conor McGregor in a crossover event in 2017, marking his 50th career win. ‘Money’ has regularly teased a potential comeback, but his only return came in the form of an exhibition bout with kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.
However, it seems he could be back in the ring soon - in a virtual form! The 43-year-old has teamed up with streaming platform fuboTV and virtual entertainment company FaceBank to put himself back in the action via a computer which uses a number of factors to replicate a real fight.
