Former Olympian Oscar Pistorius has been freed from prison on parole more than a decade after he killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, it was revealed today.

In November, the 'Blade Runner' was granted a second chance at parole at a hearing in Johannesburg, South Africa, after being wrongly ruled ineligible for early release in March.

The double amputee has today been released from a South African prison. He was found guilty of the manslaughter of his model girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2013.
