From knitting to origami, interest in ‘craftfulness’ has mushroomed over the past few years as we all seek absorbing new ways to calm our minds - a pursuit which now more apt than ever.

It’s a concept backed by legitimate research too. A study published in the British Journal of Occupational Therapy found that 81 percent of knitters who suffered from depression said that they felt ‘happy’ after knitting, while a study at the University of Auckland found that creative writing boosted patients’ immune systems.
