Singer Marianne Faithfull is reportedly recovering after being treated for COVID-19 in London. Reps for the singer behind such songs as “Broken English” and “As Tears Go By” announced via Twitter that she’d been discharged from hospital after 22 days. “She will continue to recuperate in London,” the tweet adds.
In the tweet, Faithfull shared her gratitude “to all the NHS staff who cared for her at the hospital and, without doubt, saved her life.” Previous, Faithfull’s manager, Francois Ravard, confirmed she was undergoing treatment for COVID-19. “She is stable and responding to treatment,” read a statement at the time. “We all wish her well and a full and speedy recovery.” RELATED: Chris Hemsworth Is Leading Guided Meditations To Help
