Ministers have discussed plans to ask office workers to wear masks once the coronavirus lockdown ends in a bid to prevent a return of the deadly bug.
Masks could be made compulsory for those travelling to work on trains and in the office workspace, They believe it may be the only way to allow all workers to return back to normality.
The move could affect millions, including factory workers who may be asked to wear protective gear, according to the Daily Mail.
Yesterday, the Mayor of London urged people to wear face masks in public during the coronavirus crisis. Sadiq Khan suggested the Government should change its advice to tell people to wear masks outdoors from now on.
