Millions could be 'told to wear masks to work and on transport' after lockdown

Millions of Brits could be ordered to wear face masks and gloves as people get back work to rescue Britain's flagging economy, according to reports.

Ministers have been mulling over the prospect of introducing protective equipment to certain indoor work places - also including factories - as well as on public transport, the Daily Mail reports.

This would mean millions of Brits being advised to don the gear once the lockdown is lifted and the country starts to return to normal.

Stand-in Prime Minister Dominic Raab yesterday extended the UK lockdown until May 7 but it could go on for longer, he warned.
