The Administration for Community Living (ACL) has opened a new funding opportunity for the National Center for Benefits Outreach & Enrollment.
The grantee will: The NCBOE grantee is expected to coordinate efforts to inform older Americans and beneficiaries with disabilities about the benefits they qualify for under federal and state programs.
The emphasis is on providing information on programs to help Medicare beneficiaries pay for their Medicare coverage, specifically the Low-Income Subsidy (LIS) and Medicare Savings Programs (MSP).
The NCBOE will also serve as a technical assistance resource center for state grantees who receive funding established under the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA).
