Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson let rip at his fellow SPFL board directors after the Ibrox ‘members resolution’ was booted out on coronavirus crisis plan deadline day.
As the vote on how to deal with the remainder of the season careered towards a no verdict outcome last night, Rangers had their own counter proposal KO’d by league chiefs.
Rangers’ plan - to keep the season alive indefinitely but distribute prize money immediately - bit the dust after failing a ‘competence’ test.
That led to a war of words over the timing of Rangers’ submission - with SPFL chiefs insisting they hadn’t been asked to assist with the wording of the Ibrox resolution until after 10pm on Thursday evening.
