Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale have both been pictured arriving at their respective training grounds as La Liga players have been tested for coronavirus.

With the La Liga season currently suspended amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic players have been keeping themselves busy with individual training programmes at home.

But Spanish sides hope to return to training in the coming weeks with the number of cases in the country depleting daily. On Wednesday morning, six-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi was pictured arriving in his car at Barcelona’s training ground.

Part of the plans for the season to resume in June will involve regular testing and Messi, along with his team-mates, will be tested for coronavirus.
