George Floyd: Celebs share Blackout Tuesday posts in protest after killing

In the wake of the horrific death of George Floyd, social media has been flooded with opinion, outrage and emotion. George died after saying "I can't breathe" as a white police officer was filmed kneeling on his neck.

Cop Derek Chauvin has since been sacked and charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. America is embroiled in mass protests and increasing numbers are putting their names down for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Now, stars on social media trend have found a way to protest digitally - by going dark. Celebs have joined the trend, known as Blackout Tuesday, to call for justice and equality.
