Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Kate Garraway ‘sick with worry’ as husband in intensive care due to COVID-19

Kate Garraway’s husband, Derek Draper, who was the former advisor to Tony Blair is currently in intensive care after contracting COVID-19.

The Good Morning Britain host admitted that she is ‘sick with worry over’ over her husband after he was rushed to hospital following a positive diagnosis of the illness.

Kate met Prince Charles at an event on 11 March, and it was later reported that the royal tested positive for COVID-19. Kate had recently been to hospital due to conjunctivitis but reassured fans that she was in good health.
