Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan has revealed he will be appearing on the show alongside Susanna Reid tomorrow, in a major change to his presenting role.

The TV host normally only hosts from Monday to Wednesday, but he confirmed to a fan today that he will on the show tomorrow, and will be hosting four days a week for the foreseeable.

Piers wrote in response to a fan: "Thanks Tris, I'll actually be doing 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) on GMB for the foreseeable future, starting tomorrow." This comes after Piers came to blows with MP Helen Whately after she appeared to laugh when he spoke about the coronavirus death toll.
