Piers Morgan has confirmed he's tested negative for coronavirus. The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter explained last night that he had taken a test for Covid-19 and would not return to screens until he got the results back.
Instead, Ben Shephard replaced Piers on Monday on GMB as he joined Susanna Reid to present the show. Taking to Twitter, the father-of-four revealed his doctors advised him to take a test after he showed symptoms.
He wrote: "My Covid-19 test was negative. I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a government-designated essential worker. "I'll be back on Good Morning Britain as soon as my doctor advises I'm OK to return to work." Su
