Former Scotland and Everton star Graeme Sharp has called null and void "the only option" for both England and Scotland's leagues.

The 59-year-old, who won the English top division with the Toffees twice in the 1980s, reckons it's impossible to restart the season later in the year, describing the pandemic gripping the world as an act of god.The option to abandon seasons completely has been widely dismissed due to the potential financial implications of broadcasters, sponsors and fans looking to recoup their outlay for games that have been stricken from record.

But the 12 times capped former player reckons making Liverpool or Celtic champions and relegating the likes of Hearts is too much of a strain on the notion of sporting integrity.
