Great British Bake Off's comeback episode delayed amid Covid second lockdown fear

Great British Bake Off fans will have to wait a little longer for the new series to kick off due to the on going coronavirus pandemic.

The hit cookery programme was intially billed to start at 8pm tonight on Channel 4.However, in a late minute shake-up of the TV schedule the programme will no longer air as planned due to the decision by Boris Johnson to place the UK under new social distancing measures.Keen to curb a second spike in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Johnson will announce his new laws in a televised speech.The PM's address to the nation will be broadcast at 8pm pushing Bake Off back until 8.15pm.The upcoming series of Bake Off was delayed earlier this year after the country was placed under a nation-wide lockdown.Boris.
