A hero nurse who helped a pensioner terrified he had coronavirus has been given free car repairs and praise from Anthony Joshua.
Lucy Duncan was driving home after a 12 hour shift at Wigan Infirmary when the man's car bumped into hers. The 24-year-old followed the vehicle and the driver grabbed Lucy's arm in desperation, telling her he feared he had coronavirus.
Lucy, a mental health nurse, called an ambulance and followed him to hospital in her car. She waited with the 73-year-old man in hospital for five hours, comforting him and holding his hand.
Sadly, the man passed away in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, March 28. Lucy shared a photograph of herself and wrote about the incident on Facebook, which has since gone viral with
