Anthony Joshua is confident of “walking through” domestic rival Tyson Fury if they lock horns in the near future. Talk of a domestic dust-up between the pair has reignited since Fury ripped the WBC heavyweight title from Deontay Wilder’s grasp back in February, with Joshua targeting an all-British showdown that would crown a first undisputed king of the division in 20 years.
Nevertheless, the Gypsy King must first come through a trilogy bout with Wilder after the American triggered the rematch clause in their contract.
Unified champion AJ is also scheduled to defend his titles against mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev next. If both Brits emerge unscathed, however, an undisputed clash could be on the cards in 2021.
