Host who 'didn't believe in coronavirus' fined for throwing house party

A house party host has been fined after a guest said he "did not believe in coronavirus". The Derby West response unit of Derbyshire Police said they received a noise complaint from an 18th birthday party on Monday.

The force said the homeowner was handed a £60 fixed penalty notice due to the breach of the lockdown regulations. Police also said they did not receive "the warmest of welcomes" when they arrived, with one guest saying they did not believe in the disease.
