The UK is experiencing an invasion of Asian giant hornets which can kill with a single sting. The giant hornet has already had a detrimental affect on the honeybee population in the country since they were first spotted in the UK in 2016 after France was accidentally exposed to them in 2004.
Experts are now warning the environmental destruction could cost the UK up to £7.6million every year. The Asian hornets are similar to the European ones but are not native to the UK.
The Government is hoping to stop the spread of the hornets because of the risk they pose. Here we share how to spot the deadly hornet, and what to do if you see one.
