Emmerdale star has begged her followers to get mammograms after believing her cancer could have been caught sooner. The 56-year-old actress, who played Kathy Glover in the long-running ITV soap, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February after finding a lump in January.

Speaking to the Sunday Express, Malandra said: "Since my diagnosis, I tell all ladies to please go and get a mammogram. No matter what age you are, if something seems suspicious, go to your GP.
You won’t regret it.
