Jadon Sancho was reportedly dropped by Borussia Dortmund after he had broken lockdown rules to fly back to England. It is believed that the England international traveled back home to the UK ‘for several days’ without getting permission from club chiefs.

As a result of the trip, he was forced to quarantine himself for two weeks upon landing in Germany again. The winger missed his team’s return to Bundelsiga action last month and did not start a game until last weekend.

Sancho came off the bench against Schalke, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich, before netting a hat-trick in his first start at Paderborn.

German newspaper Bild claim that rather than having an injury which was the excuse at the time, he had not featured due much to his quarantine.
