Jameela Jamil is refusing to back down from online trolls after they targeted Adele after her seven stone weight loss. The Good Place star, who started the Instagram series I Weigh and has spoken widely on the topics of body image and mental health, shared a series of memes that she feels were intended to peddle a sexist message.

The memes showed unhealthy foods - pizza, fried chicken and ice cream - and asked if the browser would rather have those or look like "skinny Adele." Jameela shared the memes on Twitter and expressed relief that Adele isn't on the platform to see them. "Adele would hate this," she wrote. "I'm so glad she isn't on here to see people weaponize her body against women.
