John Bishop describes COVID as ‘the worst illness I’ve ever had’

Comedian John Bishop has revealed that both he and his wife Melanie have tested positive for COVID-19. The 54-year-old shared the news on his social media as he uploaded a photo of the NHS notification he got which informed him that he had contracted the virus.

However, it seems that it has really hit him hard as John has described COVID as ‘the worst illness I’ve ever had.’ Along with the screenshot, John detailed how his body coped with the illness and the symptoms he got as he said: ‘This came through on Christmas Day.
